Kingdom Kids is the name for the varied ministries for children. They include:
NURSERY
We have a wonderful nursery that is available during Sunday activities, some Bible studies, and Wednesday during AWANA. Our nursery workers are equipped to engage your youngster in a variety of games, toys, and videos. Parents, or a designated adult, must sign their child in and out of the nursery. Older siblings under the age of 19 are not permitted to sign out a child.
AWANA (Two Years Old – 6th Grade)
AWANA Bible Clubs are offered for boys and girls, age 2 – 6th grade, during the school year (Sept-May) at First Christian Church. We meet Wednesday evenings from 6:30 - 8:30 PM.

Our goal in AWANA is to reach boys & girls and their families with the gospel of Jesus Christ and train them to serve Him. The acronym AWANA comes from the first letters of

Ashamed (2 Timothy 2:15).
There is a registration fee - $35 for the first child, $25 for each additional child (includes uniform, awards, store and first book). Lost uniforms, books and awards can be replaced at the expense of the family. New participants may register during regular club meetings throughout the year.

AWANA is divided into "clubs" by age ranges. Memorizing scripture, developing godly character, and leading children to the Lord are AWANA club goals. Activities and projects help kids learn scripture, develop godly character and leadership skills, and help them apply the principles of God's Word to their lives. Game times are fun and utilize the kids’ natural competitive energies. Kids and families love AWANA!
PUGGLES: Ages 2-3
In many circles, “Puggle” is a common term for a baby Platypus. In children’s ministry circles, AWANA Puggles is an enriching program for your pre-Cubbie kids that present basic biblical concepts: We are a unique creation of God and God loves us very much. AWANA Puggles teaches toddlers simple lessons through teaching cards, activities, music and more.
CUBBIES: Ages 4-5
Games, puppets, crafts, awards and other activities transform our preschool program into a lively weekly experience where fun and learning go hand in hand. Bible-centered handbooks and club activities help your children begin to build a solid understanding of the basics of Christianity at an early age and memorize God’s Word.
SPARKS: K – 2nd Grade
Sparks club meetings are for children in K- 2nd grade which combines learning with fun. Through Bible memory, games and activities, the children are encouraged to know God’s Word and grow in their faith in Jesus Christ.
TRUTH & TRAINING (TNTers): 3rd – 6th Grade
The name Truth & Training reflects the passion of AWANA to teach 3rd- 6th grade boys and girls the truth of God’s Word and to train them to follow Christ in their daily lives. We divide TNTers into two classes – one for boys and one for girls. They interact in all activities except their handbook time.
Parent Involvement: Parents are invited to participate in certain aspects of AWANA. We ask parents to sign-up for snacks to be provided for the program each week. Parents are also encouraged to attend award ceremonies. If parents want to stay informed they are welcome to join our e-newsletter.

Sunday school starts at 9:00 AM. Kids interact in a lesson, coloring, and other activities that will make the Bible real to them. We are currently working through the “One Room” curriculum.
JESUS STREET
Jesus Street is available for children ages 4 years to 4th grade during the sermon portion of the Sunday morning worship service. Kids are called forward after communion for a blessing, and then escorted to Jesus Street.
